The blue Orp family that live with us is currently only small (in numbers) but not in size! Only 2 adult blues make up the breeding pen (sourced from Matt Hanson, one of the UK's blue orp "up and coming" stars).

Like the buffs, the blues are laid back, totally cuddly and "hippyish" in nature.

Joining Mr Borp (sorry, the kids name the chickens not me!) and his wife Mrs Blip in the spring are 6 young "baby blues" who currently are hanging out in the "juvenile pen" awaiting maturity.

We may have some fertile eggs available from Borp and Blip (but not many - so order early) early in February 2009.  Additional young stock available late summer (hopefully!)
